Teaching Approach

My teaching approach is student-centered, personalized, and strategically aligned with the requirements of each examination board. I begin by assessing a student’s current level of understanding, strengths, areas for improvement, learning style, and academic goals. This allows me to adapt my teaching methods and design lessons that respond effectively to the student’s individual needs.

I combine strong conceptual understanding with focused examination preparation. Rather than teaching the syllabus in isolation, I carefully analyze syllabus objectives, assessment criteria, past papers, and recurring question patterns to understand what students are expected to learn and how they need to demonstrate their knowledge in examinations.

Using the principles of backward design and constructive alignment, I develop structured learning plans that connect learning objectives, lesson activities, practice questions, and assessment requirements. This ensures that every lesson has a clear purpose and contributes to measurable academic progress. My aim is to help students understand concepts deeply, apply their knowledge confidently, improve their examination techniques, and become more independent and effective learners.
